The fifth edition of the Students’ Seminar Series, ‘Conclave 5.0’ organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of DCT’s Dhempe College of Arts and Science was held on 20th, 21st and 23rd January 2025. The theme for this year’s seminar was Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). Over a period of three sessions, 14 student-delegates across 13 departments made 24 presentations. They were guided by Faculty Mentors from the respective subjects.
Prof. K.G. Hiremath, Retd. Professor and former Head of the Department of Botany was the distinguished Chair for all the sessions.
The Best Presentation Award was conferred upon Mr. Darryl D’Souza and Ms. Prachiti Raikar for their insights into the role of women in ancient Indian economies. The theme facilitated a nuanced exploration of the diverse epistemes embedded in IKS and its impact on contemporary life.
