On 20th June 2023 we celebrate the Foundation Day of our college. Dhempe College of Arts and Science was founded on 20th June 1962 by philanthropist industrialist brothers Shri Vasantrao Dempo and Shri Vaikunthrao Dempo, along with Shri Dayanand Bandodkar ( later Goa’s First CM ), Shri Santu Bharne and many other educationists. We paid homage to the Founder and First Principal of our college Dr. Y. V. Lawande. Dhempe College was the first institution of higher education in Goa post-liberation.
