The Department of Biotechnology  inaugrated an online enrichment program on Advanced Immunology on 20^th January, 2020. This course is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Srinivas Kaveri, Director, Le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) and Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM), Immunopathology and Therapeutic Immunointervention, Pa   ris, France. The inaugural session was followed by talk by Dr. Srinivas Kaveri on the history and overview of the immune system functioning and also an interactive session with the students pertaining to different aspects of Immunology.The course aims at providing the knowledge of the biotechnology  in the field of immunology and enhance their employability in the overgrowing sector of industries involved in developing immunodiagnostic kits.  This course will enable students to learn the basic concepts and functioning of the immune system as well as the most recent advances and biotechnological developments in the field of Immunology.
