This course deals with the in depth study of physiology and biochemistry of human beings. This course being related to the field of medical physiology and biochemistry elaborates the various aspects of blood in the study of haematology (such as blood composition, morphology of erythrocytes and other blood cells), the study of neural control of the body in neurophysiology (such as structure of neurons, nerve impulse, neurotransmitters, physiology of memory, sleep, etc), biomolecules (proteins, carbohydrates and lipids), enzymology as well as the synthesis of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA) in the human body.
