The NCC Rank Ceremony of the NCC Navy Unit Cadets was held on 4th September 2024 at  SV Hall ,DCT’s Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar. The event commenced at 10:30 a.m. with the arrival of the Commanding Officer, Captain Ram Kumar, of the 1 Goa Naval Unit, Peddem, Mapusa, accompanied by PI Staff Officer Rathee.

The ceremony commenced with lighting of lamp and prayer song. Dr. Mamta Kumari, CTO of the NCC Navy Unit, gave a brief introduction to the Commanding Officer, highlighting his career and contributions. The cadets presented a cultural program, which included an energetic solo dance, a melodious group song, and a captivating yoga performance. The Principal of the college also addressed the gathering, telling the importance of being part of NCC.

The primary event was the conferral of ranks to the cadets. A total of 12 cadets were promoted: 1 Cadet Captain, 5 Petty Officers, and 6 Leading Cadets. The cadets were recognized for their dedication, leadership skills, and commitment to the NCC.

Following the rank distribution, Captain Ram Kumar delivered an inspiring speech, motivating the cadets to continue their efforts in both academics and NCC activities.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo session, capturing the momentous occasion, and ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
