State level webinar organised by Women’s cell

Women’s cell of DCT’s Dhempe college of Arts and Science, Miramar, organised a State level Webinar, on “Women’s Health challenges and Solutions” on 14^th December 2020, from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The two guest speakers were Dr. Tanvi Poy Raiturcar, Consultant Eye Surgeon, Healthway Hospital, and Dr. Rini Ravindranath Naik, Gynaecologist, Resident doctor at Goa Medical College. More than 180 participants registered for the webinar. Around 75 attended the webinar.

Dr. Tanvi Raiturcar, enlightened the participants with the Eye related issues and how to tackle with it. She also emphasised how to maintain the health of the eye, what are the precautions to be taken during the infections and injuries to the eye. Dr. Rini Naik, spoke on the women related gynaecological issues, menstrual problems, myths, ovarian cancer, and the treatment options. The sessions were very informative and the participants attended, responded with the questions and doubts, which were addressed by the speakers.
