On 28th September 2025, the Department of Philosophy, in collaboration with NGO Uzwaad, conducted an outreach activity to raise awareness on suicide prevention through a streetplay performed at Panjim and Betim. The initiative aimed to educate the public on mental health issues and encourage support for individuals in distress. The streetplay was well-received by the local community and effectively conveyed the importance of empathy, understanding, and timely intervention. The event was successfully coordinated by Ms. Sendra Pereira and reflected the department’s commitment to social awareness and community engagement.
