Student Participation in Workshop on Conservation of Museum Antiquities
TYBA History Honours student John Ferrao and SYBSc Multidisciplinary History student Sairah D’Mello represented Dhempe College at a one-day workshop on “Conservation of Museum Antiquities” on 29th Sept 2025, organised by the Directorate of Museums to mark its 48th Foundation Day.
The workshop, with expert sessions from the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, gave students hands-on insights into the preservation of museum artefacts and cultural heritage. 🌿📜
They were accompanied by Dr. Mayur Arolkar (Asst. Prof., History). A truly enriching experience that broadened their understanding of heritage conservation!
