The Department of Botany organized a hands-on training programme titled “The Bamboo Split: Hands-on Botanical Art” on 6th January 2026, sponsored by the DBT Star College Scheme, to promote eco-friendly craftsmanship.
The training was conducted under the guidance of professional artists Ms. Sonali Rajaram Parwar and Mr. Vishal Vithu Parsekar, and was coordinated by Dr. Shilpa Bhonsle and Dr. Purnima Ghadi, Head of the Department of Botany, with the aim of fostering sustainable practices and traditional skills among students.
