A session on ‘ Role of Polar Ocean in Climate Change was held on Saturday, 14th February 2026 to highlight the significance of the Arctic and Antarctic oceans in regulating the climate system. Speaker for the session was Dr. Sarat Chandra Tripathi,Scientist F, NCPOR, Goa. The session was organised by The Research and Development Cell of DCT’s Dhempe College of Arts and Science under the aegis of Vidnyan Dhara 2026, an initiative of Goa State Higher Education Council and Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa. The session was attended by a large number of students and faculty from the various departments.
