Research Laboratory
The Research Laboratory at DCT’s Dhempe College of Arts & Science is well-equipped with advanced instruments to support research activities for students and faculty members. These instruments have been procured through grants from the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and Dempo Charities Trust, Goa to enhance research capabilities.

- UV-V-visible Spectrophotometer (UV 2600, Shimadzu)
- FTIR Spectrophotometer (IR Affinity 1S, Shimadzu)
- Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AA-6880, Shimadzu)
- Elevator Rotary Vacuum Evaporator (Equiptron)
- Gas Chromatography Instrument (GC-2014, Shimadzu)
- Digital Analytical Balance (Vibra)
- High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) (Shimadzu, LC-20AD prominence liquid chromatograph, SPD-20A prominence UV-Vis detector) along with a Multifunctional Ultrasonic Cleaner (Athena Sonicator)
- Karl Fischer Titrator (KAFI+, LABINDIA)
- UV-Visible Photo Reactor, purchased from Lelesil Innovative Systems, Thane, Maharashtra
- Polarimeter (Digital polarimeter, CDP-001, Contech)
Sample Analysis Services
The Research Laboratory also provides sample analysis services for students and faculty members from other institutions at a minimal payment basis. This service aims to promote collaborative research and enhance scientific exploration beyond our institution.
