More than 60 years ago, as a new morning dawned on Goa’s horizon in the form of liberation, a resplendent vision of her future started to take shape in the minds of a few luminaries. An integral part of attaining this vision was establishing institutions of higher learning that could make Goa a frontrunner in academic stewardship. Thus was born the idea of Dhempe College of Arts and Science! Bit by bit, through the efforts of many stalwarts and led by the Dempo family, this college became one of the premier edifices of higher learning thus trailblazing a legacy of which we all are proud today.  

I am, indeed, honored to be a part of this legacy as Dhempe College continues to be led by the aspiration of empowering students to become enlightened citizens, equipped with the required knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of an ever-changing world. Our BA, BSc and MSc programmes strive to provide cutting-edge curriculum benefits to the learner through experiential learning methods facilitated by a highly qualified teaching staff, upgraded infrastructural facilities and a vibrant campus culture that fosters research, innovation, co/extra curricular development and sporting excellence.  

Our dedicated faculty members remain committed to our mission of nurturing global leaders who are equipped to address the challenges of the 21st century. Our collective aim is to provide a transformative educational experience that cultivates empathy, tolerance, and a deep sense of social responsibility. 

It gives me great pleasure to mention that over the years, Dhempe College has managed to build a community of scholars who embody the values of intellectual curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking while remaining committed to holistic welfare.
