Unnat Bharat

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is a flagship initiative launched by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, with the objective of addressing the developmental challenges faced by rural communities. This program aims to foster collaboration between academic institutions and rural areas, thereby enhancing the overall quality of life through innovative technological, social, and economic interventions.

As an active participant in this program, the college adopted five villages: Pilerne, Succorro, Penha de Franca, Diwar, and St. Estevem. Various activities have been undertaken with a focus on waste management, preservation of the villages’ cultural heritage, promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, and overall rural development.
