The Operon Club of Department of Biotechnology, DCT’s Dhempe College of Arts & Science hosted a session titled “Arctic Icy Realms: My Polar Experience,” delivered by Shwetakshi Mishra, an Alumnus of the department. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of Arctic research, including proposed application timelines, optimal visitation periods, and critical pre-trip preparations and the her experience at the Himadri station and Longyearbyen. The speaker also addressed career pathways for Bachelor of Science graduates specializing in Biotechnology.
