The Health Centre and the Non-Teaching Staff Association of DCT’s Dhempe College (Autonomous), in collaboration with the Urban Health Centre, Panaji, successfully organized an NCD (Non-Communicable Diseases) Health Screening Camp on 8th July 2026 for the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.
The camp was conducted by a dedicated team of 24 healthcare professionals and offered a wide range of services, including blood pressure, blood sugar and haemoglobin testing, general medical and dental examinations, counselling, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic consultations, Pap smear and clinical breast examination, ABHA registration, and distribution of medicines where required.
A total of 60 beneficiaries availed themselves of the health screening services. The initiative emphasized preventive healthcare, early detection of health conditions, and the importance of regular health check-ups, reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting the health and well-being of its staff.
